Counsellor / Therapist –Adult Service
Stop is a well-respected social services agency that provides its services across the South Island. Stop is a specialist provider of high-quality evidence-based community assessment and intervention services for adolescent and adults who have engaged in harmful sexual behaviour (HSB). We provide tailored therapeutic interventions which have been shown to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients their families and their communities.
Due to increased need, we are expanding our Dunedin based team and are seeking a part time Clinician, working 20 hours per week, to support our Adult service.
The role involves the delivery of therapeutic assessment and intervention for adults who have been referred for harmful sexual behaviour. A strengths-based trauma-informed, psychosocial framework is utilised in providing a combination of individual and group therapy and whanau support in conjunction with other community agencies as required. The successful applicant will be supported by an experienced team of Specialist Clinicians.
